Patriotic Labels Showing Allied Ships |

During World War I, a French printer named Delandre, cashed in on the patriotic fever of the time by producing quantities of 'Charity' labels. Amongst his productions was a lengthy series depicting British warships, including a few with Australian and New Zealand connections. Through his efforts, he produced a charming recollection of the great ships that cruised the oceans during World War I.
