Inventors on Postage Stamps PDF Print E-mail
In 1983, The United States Postal Service issued four stamps honouring notable American inventors.  They show Charles Steinmetz for his electrical theories, Edwin Armstrong for his achievements in broadcasting technology, Nikola Tesla for his induction motor and Philo T. Farnsworth for development of the first television camera.
