The Icelandic Post Office installed a Frama franking label vending machine in the lobby of Reyjavik post office on June 29, 1983. The machine printed labels up to the value of 9340 aurar. The labels were then glued to items to be mailed in the same manner and with the same rules as applied to normal postage stamps.
